Join the Club Friday, May 22 2009

If you haven’t signed up for Home Depot’s Garden Club it’s worth joining. They send e-mail newsletters every month with coupons for fertilizer, weed killer, and other products. Last year they even had buy one get one free plant coupons, and I’m hoping they will repeat that. Either way, its a way to learn more gardening tips, the right plants for your region, and even save a little money in the process.

Birthday Freebies Friday, May 15 2009

Since my husband’s birthday was last week, we’ve been eating out a lot the past couple weeks using birthday restaurant coupons. So I though I’d share the best restaurant’s with birthday clubs you can sign up for online and get free stuff/coupons. Most places will e-mail you the coupons a week before your birthday and they are good until a week after your birthday, so you have 2 weeks to fill up on free food.

Red Robin-free gourmet burger. They will also sometimes give you a free ice cream sundae. The Whiskey River is my favorite.

Houlihan’s-free entree. This is a great one because their food is so good, but a little pricey. I always get the stuffed chicken that I normally wouldn’t pay $16 for, but it’s great when it’s free!

Noodles & Company– free dish. I love the buttered egg noodles with parmesan chicken. Yum. They also send other coupons, I recently got one for a dish and drink for $5.25 and a month ago they sent me another free dish coupon just for my anniversary of registering with them.

Boathouse in Forest Park-free lunch or dinner entree. This is in St.Louis.

Cold Stone Creamery-free like it sized ice cream + mix in.

Maggie Moos-free ice cream cone. And this is a massive ice cream cone, great for sharing. They also recently sent a coupon for a free milkshake. Also big enough to share.

Those are the best freebies, here is a loooong list of BIRTHDAY FREEBIES from STLMommy of all places offering coupons for $$ off, free dessert, free appetizers, or free kid’s meals.

Special K special deal Saturday, May 2 2009

I was so excited. Using the printable Special K coupons along with Target’s sale, I was able to buy 5 boxes of Special K cereal (my favorite) and use 5 printable coupons to buy the cereal for $1.39 each. Then I got a $5 giftcard back for buying 5 boxes, making each box only 0.39. So cool. I love Target.
